What is True Friendship?

This post is to find out if there are fools (like me) who think there is something called 'True Friendship'. I would like to know your views on what true friendship is and what i think true friendship is indeed true friendship. I often hear people say a true friend is one who sticks in thick n thin. Does that mean, a true friend should support his/her friend inspite of knowing that his/her friend has chosen a wrong path or he/she made a wrong decision for himself/herself ? or Does that mean correcting your friend? telling them that they are wrong? If so would that make you a good friend. I would like everyone who visit this blog to share their views on 'True Friendship'.
